At our school, our three House Teams — Love, Live and Learn — reflect the values at the heart of everything we do. We want every child to grow in confidence, develop a love of learning and feel that they have a voice in our school community. From Nursery through to Reception, every child has the opportunity to have their voice heard through our School Council. Our School Council representatives meet each half term to share ideas, listen to the views of their classmates and work together to make important decisions about our school. Through this, we encourage our youngest pupils to take responsibility, share their ideas and understand that their voices can make a real difference to our school community.

Each year, our children are invited to put forward their own ideas for committees that they believe could make a positive difference to our school. These pupil-led groups give children the opportunity to take an active role in school life, share their ideas and work together to bring about meaningful improvements. Over the years, our committees have included Performing Arts, Health and Safety, Eco Committee and Happiness Heroes, with each group bringing fresh ideas, enthusiasm and a sense of responsibility to our school community. We are proud to give our children the opportunity to lead, influence and help shape the school they are part of.
