Having worked at the school for over 25 years, this place means a great deal to me personally. I began my journey here as a newly qualified teacher and have been fortunate enough to experience many different roles, including Senior Teacher and Head of School, before becoming Headteacher. This school has been a huge part of my life and I have always thought of it as an extension of my own home. Through times of change and challenge, my commitment to our children, families and community has never wavered.
I feel incredibly proud of our hardworking and dedicated staff team. Every day, I see the care, compassion and determination they bring to their work. Inclusivity is at the heart of who we are. We want every child to feel safe, happy and valued, knowing that they belong and that they can achieve great things.
For me, school is about so much more than what happens in the classroom. It is about building relationships, creating memories, celebrating achievements, supporting one another through challenges and helping children grow into confident, kind and curious individuals. I truly believe that the strongest schools are built on genuine partnerships with families and I want every parent and carer to feel welcome, listened to and part of our school family.
Our school is often described as a small school with a big heart, and I think this captures everything that makes it so special. It is the warmth of our relationships, the care we show one another and the strong sense of belonging that make our school such a wonderful place to Love, Live and Learn.
