Details of the post
We are seeking to appoint a positive, proactive and friendly Administrative Officer with a passion for working with children in a diverse and busy Primary School Office. The successful candidate must be able to promote the positive and caring ethos of the school and be able to efficiently engage and collaborate with all stakeholders.
Under the guidance of the Headteacher, you will be responsible for undertaking administrative, financial and organisational processes within the school, and to assist with the planning and development of the school.
The main duties will include
- liaising with parents and other stakeholders,
- maintaining and managing staff HR files, administration of the recruitment process, absence management, maintaining staff training records
- financial duties to include placing orders, processing invoices and budget management
- supporting the Headteacher with Health and Safety
- managing the admissions process for the school and maintaining pupil files both paper and electronic

Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8.30am – 4.30pm, Friday 8.30am – 4pm (41.2 working weeks per year)
Grade: Grade 5 (SCP 6-9)
Salary: £25,989 to £27,254 (FTE)
